Feed Summit: Commodity Trends and High-Quality Nutrition for Healthier and More Profitable Shrimp
Scope /
After attending this session, you will be up-to-date on the outlook for feed availability and pricing trends, and will have gained state-of-the-art insights into the functional benefits of feed for profitable farming.
As usual, leading experts from Rabobank and DSM-Firmenich will provide the latest update on the global commodity market, and answered some key questions. What are the prospects for critical plant-based and marine ingredient markets? What is the impact of El Niño and the war in the Middle East? And is there a new window of opportunity for novel ingredients?
We will then shift focus to increasing efficiency through improved feed. Nutreco’s Chief Science Officer, Mr David Bravo, will present on the ways deeper insights into the potential of the plant kingdom, applied in high-quality feed, can holistically improve shrimp health and productivity. Mr Jean-Benoît Darodes de Tailly, Global Business Developer at Phileo, will explain how systematic survey work, in partnership with producers and focused on shrimp gut health, can support producers and feed companies through early risk signalling and by identifying opportunities for feed to optimise growth.
To close the session, David and Jean-Benoît will be joined on stage by Mrs Kim Tran from De Heus. In an engaging panel discussion, we will hear the panellists’ perspectives on regional feed availability, as well as their response to opportunities and challenges in feed, health, nutrition and business performance.
Join us for this insightful session, which will explore how feed is evolving in a market that demands efficiency, health, and higher standards.
