Kim Tran, PhD, MBA, is Nutrition & Support Director Aqua Asia at Royal De Heus. She brings extensive experience from her previous role as Head of Formulation at Grobest Vietnam, where she developed a strong foundation in aquafeed production and formulation.
Kim has spent years working in aquafeed mills, building deep expertise in balancing macro- and micro-ingredients, optimising feed additives, and managing costs without compromising performance. She specialises in designing nutritional specifications tailored to different species, culture methods, and production stages.
Her work is driven by a practical focus on results in the field, translating well-designed feed formulations into measurable improvements in shrimp growth and health. She continues to advance her expertise in aquaculture nutrition, with a strong interest in innovation and continuous improvement.
