Volker Loock

After studying Agriculture, he gained his first professional experience at an international certification body, where he was first introduced to certification systems for aquaculture and wild-caught fisheries.

He then spent almost ten years working independently in the fields of trade and quality assurance in Vietnam and China. During this time, he developed extensive expertise across the entire shrimp farming value chain.

Following this exciting and formative period, Volker Loock joined the German premium seafood brand COSTA Meeresspezialitäten in 2017. Today, he is responsible for the company’s purchasing activities.
