Shannon Roberts

Shannon Roberts, based in the UK, is an Aquaculture & Fisheries Biologist and is part of the sustainability team for Sea Farms Limited. She is responsible for the environmental and social sustainability of aquaculture supply chains and leads the animal welfare strategy for the company. Shannon holds a BSc in Marine Biology from Swansea University (Wales) and over her 9 years with Sea Farms has gained first-hand experience of shrimp farm & hatchery management in Latin America and Southeast Asia. She works very closely with producers and academia to coordinate and drive R&D and implementation in commercial operations and is a proactive member of many collaborative projects with service providers, NGO’s and other industry stakeholders.
