Shakeel M. Iqbal is the Director of a world-class fully EU compliant shrimp processing company ABAD CAP Seafoods in India specialising in value-added, consumer-ready products. He has been successfully running it since its inception in 1995, with operational engagement in its design, execution and profitability. He brings 33 years of hands-on experience in India's wild shrimp industry, with deep expertise in the processing, commercialisation and export of key wild shrimp species.
Before entering the seafood industry, Shakeel M. Iqbal spent the formative years of 1985-1993 in India's nascent IT industry. He holds a professional degree in agricultural and allied sciences and an MBA from one of India's oldest business schools, bringing a unique blend of technical, scientific, and business expertise to the seafood sector.
