Fleur van den Heuvel-Meerman is an independent consultant and facilitator specialising in human rights due diligence and supply chain transparency. Working across sectors, she helps companies and stakeholders move from policy commitments to practical conversations about what actually works on the ground. Her perspective is grounded in hands-on experience across the supply chain: she has worked at a large private label retailer, at a China-based importer with factories in Vietnam and Myanmar, and at the SER (Social and Economic Council of the Netherlands), where she focused on the governance and legislation of due diligence. This breadth — from sourcing decisions on the factory floor to policy discussions at national level — means she understands the realities, pressures, and priorities of every part of the chain. Fleur brings that cross-sector and cross-chain perspective to complex governance topics, drawing on experience from industries including garments, food, and retail to help participants think beyond their own supply chain. She is an experienced moderator of large-scale stakeholder events and conferences.
