Responsible Sourcing Summit: Advancing Labour and Human Rights in Shrimp Supply Chains

Shrimp farm harvest
Scope /

This session is designed as a practical, industry-grounded conversation focused on what is actually working—and where challenges remain—in improving labor and human rights conditions in shrimp supply chains.

The discussion will be structured across the value chain (producer/processor, importer, retailer, and certification perspective), with each speaker bringing their lens. The tone is intentionally candid and practical rather than theoretical.

Across the panel, we will touch on: what is working and not working in current labor assurance systems; the cost, complexity, and business implications of engagement in this space, and where collaboration across the supply chain is necessary to drive real improvement.
