Dan Gibson

Dan is the deputy editor for Undercurrent's European and Asia news, prices and data coverage, with extensive experience reporting on every corner of global seafood from Dutch mussels to Australian octopus, including stories for the BBC. Based in London, his primary areas of coverage are Asian farmed shrimp and North Atlantic whitefish, for which he publishes weekly market updates using input from a broad network of international sources. He holds an MSci in Geoscience from Durham University and an MA in Magazine Journalism from Cardiff University.
