Bryce Duc Lu, PhD

Dr. Bryce Duc Lu is head of Viet-Uc Genetic – Genomic Research & Development, also in charge of genetic evaluation and breeding programs at Viet-Uc Seafood Group.

Dr. Lu is a quantitative geneticist and animal breeder, trained at the University of Melbourne, Australia and the University of Guelph, Canada. He has over thirteen years of work and research experience in using genomics to improve the genetics of a variety of species, including cattle, swine, sheep, shrimps, and catfish. At Viet-Uc, Dr. Lu’s focus is on making shrimp and catfish genomically adapt to changes in the environment while producing at their highest performance.
