Alexander Farthing is a shrimp farmer and AI founder.
He built and owns integrated shrimp farms in Indonesia at DELOS, where he is Co-Founder and CCO, having recently overseen the launch of the challenger brand Naughty Prawn Co. (naughtyprawns.co.uk) into the UK and EU retail markets.
DELOS currently produces 2,000 tonnes, with a roadmap to reach 10,000 tonnes by 2028. The company deploys leading biosecurity, welfare standards and automations to build a foundation for consistent production. Combined with an obsession for quality, Naughty Prawn Co. (inspired by Alex's mother) is delivering a category-defining product to customers around Europe.
Alex also founded Hadl.ai, which develops AI models and solutions with feed companies and enterprise partners to solve real problems for Shrimp and salmon farms. Its flagship Plankton and Health solution, AquaSense, is being embedded into workflows across Asia and LATAM.
