Marcelo Vélez

Marcelo Vélez graduated as a Chemical Engineer and later earned a degree in Food Technology Engineering. He began his career in the brewing industry before transitioning to the shrimp sector. In 2000, he co-founded Edpacif S.A., a shrimp processing and exporting company, where he has served as Export Manager since its inception. In 2016, he became President of the company’s Board of Directors. Since 2023, he has also served as President of the Board of the National Chamber of Aquaculture.
