With dozens of speakers across several stages, countless microphones and earpieces, hundreds of slides, videos and images, and miles of cabling to manage, delivering the Global Shrimp Forum’s audio-visual production is no small feat.
Behind it all is Wavru Sound & Vision, our long-standing AV partner and one of the unsung heroes of the GSF. From the screens and sound systems to the microphones, presentations and technical support throughout the Forum, the Wavru team makes sure everything can be seen and heard as it should be.
For our latest ‘Behind the Scenes’ chat, we caught up with Ivo Jongeling, a key member of the Wavru team, to find out what goes into bringing the Forum to life through sound and vision, what happens behind the scenes that delegates may never notice, and what keeps him coming back to the GSF each year.
