Richard Houtkoop

Richard Houtkoop has worked in logistics for more than 30 years, beginning his career in Rotterdam before taking the next entrepreneurial step in 2007, when he co-founded Share Logistics with colleagues. In 2017, he established Share Logistics’ Urk office, focusing primarily on supporting fish importers in the region. Today, as General Manager of the Urk office, Richard leads a team of eight specialists handling perishables logistics, including ocean freight, documentation, customs clearance, and onward forwarding to final consignees.
