Philip Gray

With more than 30 years of experience in the wider shipping industry, Philip D. Gray has built particular expertise in reefer cargo. He began his career as a boarding clerk in his native port of Valparaíso, Chile, where he developed a fascination with refrigerated cargoes. He went on to help develop the transport of frozen fish from Chile and was later invited to join Seatrade in Antwerp.

His career has included extensive involvement in fish and frozen cargo trades from Argentina, Namibia, Alaska and other key markets. In 2019, Philip founded his own business and today, alongside other ventures, serves as Senior Reefer Analyst at Drewry Shipping Consultants.
