Pamela Nath has served as Director of the Sustainable Shrimp Partnership (SSP) since 2017, leading one of the shrimp industry’s most recognized sustainability initiatives. Under her leadership, SSP has advanced responsible aquaculture practices that promote food safety, environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and transparency across the shrimp value chain. She has played a key role in positioning Ecuador as a global benchmark for sustainable shrimp production, forging strategic partnerships with global organizations such as WWF, The Nature Conservancy, Conservation International, and IDH – The Sustainable Trade Initiative. Prior to joining SSP, Pamela led Ecuador’s Country Brand strategy and worked on the international promotion of the country’s key productive sectors, bringing extensive experience in strategic communications, sustainability, and global market positioning.
