
Laura Rodriguez is passionate about sustainable supply chains. She spent 12 years in the Fair Trade sector and the integration of social and green criteria on public and private procurement.
She joined Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) in 2010 to lead the launch of the MSC program in Spain and Portugal. She has worked in this position for 15 years building the MSC Iberian team and forging strong relationships with fisheries, commercial partners, governments and other stakeholders. Since September 2024, she has assumed a new role as Head of Species Strategies and Pathways in the Program Development Team. Under this global capacity, she is responsible for leading the strategies for whitefish, tuna and small pelagic in coordination with the regions, and the development of Pathway approach to support fisheries improvement in the pre-certification space.
Laura has a degree in Law and Business and a Master of Business Law. She is a founder and board member of the association Woman Action Sustainability.
