As Sr. Director of Procurement at Chicken of the Sea Frozen Foods, Henry DelaLlana oversees the purchase and import of over 100 million pounds of seafood annually, overseeing his procurement team while working with over 80 vendors internationally from Asia and South America, as well as North America to accomplish this feat. He is a firm believer in building direct relationships with those he works with, making the effort to know each one personally through close communication and traveling to their respective countries. Prior to starting with Chicken of the Sea Frozen Foods in 2006, Mr. DelaLlana worked as the materials manager for Sky Chefs, the airline catering company. He studied biology at California State Polytechnic University in Pomona, California. Mr. DelaLlana lives in Southern California with his wife and two sons, with whom he enjoys taking on road and camping trips around the southwestern United States.
