
Hassan Skøien is the Strategic Marketing & Technology Director for Cargill’s aqua business portfolio. Since joining Cargill in December 2024, he has rolled up his sleeves and teamed up with his in-market business colleagues to drive further growth. Prior to joining Cargill, he held several positions within Nutreco spanning a tenure of over 12 years with the last being the Global Marketing & Innovation Director Shrimp. With over 17 years of experience, Hassan has worked across multiple disciplines such as procurement, quality, formulation, sales, manufacturing, supply chain, human resources, business transformation, IT, M&A, product management, marketing and innovation.
Previous to his work at Nutreco, Hassan was a strategy consultant at STEM Healthcare based out of London focused on running sales and marketing audits within the pharma industry. Hassan was part of and led audits for AstraZeneca, Bristol Myers Squibb, Allergan, Celgene, Takeda, Astellas Pharma, Gilead, Sanofi Aventis, Merck Sharp Dohme (MSD), Schering Plough, Grunenthal, Otsuka, Chiesi, Teva, Lilly, Boehringer Ingelheim, Novartis, Roche and Novo Nordisk.
Hassan holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the London School of Economics & Political Sciences.
