Dr. David Nickell is a senior executive with 30-years’ experience and leadership in global business, innovation and sustainability in the worldwide aquaculture and animal protein industries, a member of the Board of Directors of the IFIF and the GFLI and founder of www.veramars.com and www.sustell.com – nutrition and digital businesses fundamental for the sustainable growth of the aquaculture and animal protein industries. He has a highly successful, proven track record of innovation, value creation and business transformation across global enterprise driving adoption of scalable nutritional programs and technologies to improve the sustainability and economics of aquaculture and animal production. He is Vice President of Sustainability & Business Solutions at dsm-firmenich and holds a PhD in marine biology and aquatic sciences from the University of Stirling.
