Brandon Phillips is the Vice President of External Affairs and Councils at the National Fisheries Institute (NFI), where he oversees multiple seafood councils—including Tuna, Salmon, Shrimp, and Crab—and leads NFI’s Education Initiative for healthcare providers and consumers. Since joining NFI in 2014, he has spearheaded industry research, policy efforts on Capitol Hill, and initiatives to boost seafood consumption. With a background in marketing and brand management at companies like Nationwide Insurance and Comcast, Phillips brings close to three decades of executive leadership experience in Fortune 100 and 500 firms. He holds a BS from the University of Maryland, College Park, and an MBA from American University.
