Mr. Alluri Indra Kumar is Chairman and Managing Director of Avanti Feeds and has played a pivotal role in shaping the company into one of India’s leading seafood businesses. A chemical engineering graduate, he helped establish Srinivasa Cystine Limited together with the company’s founder chairman, Sri Alluri Venkateswara Rao.
In 1993, he established Avanti Feeds and joined its Board of Directors. As Executive Director, he led the company’s growth in shrimp feed manufacturing, processing, and exports, delivering significant expansion across the business. In 2002, he assumed the role of Chairman and has since overseen Avanti’s continued development into one of India’s largest seafood companies, driven by an export-oriented vision and a long-term ambition to be a global leader in the seafood industry.
