Alison Hutchins

Alison Hutchins is the Director of Innovations at the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC), where she leads the development of sustainable aquaculture standards, including those pertinent to the shrimp industry. With over 17 years of experience in aquaculture, she has held key roles at organizations such as Dawnfresh, the Scottish Salmon Company, Mowi, and the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA). Hutchins holds a Master’s degree in Aquaculture from the University of Stirling, with expertise in environmental compliance, site development, and regulatory processes.
