As Director of Sustainability for Thai Union North America, Blake is a member of TU's Global Sustainability Team, working with the sustainability teams in Europe and Asia in the execution of the acclaimed sustainability strategy, SeaChange®. He supports both North American operating companies, Chicken of the Sea Frozen Foods and Chicken of the Sea International, to advance the corporate goal of “Healthy Living, Healthy Oceans” by leading the strategic priorities of restoring & protecting communities and ecosystems. Before joining Thai Union, Blake focused on building more equitable seafood supply chains through improved worker welfare and community development while at Fair Trade USA. He received his BA in Political Science from the University of California at Santa Barbara and his Master of Science in Sustainability Management from American University, Kogod School of Management.
